2nd half of the 20th century, Italy, wood, in very good condition

Offered is an elegant chess table from Italy with a built-in music mechanism of the brand Reuge.
If the spring is at the bottom of the table is wound and then the lid of the table is folded open, one hears the melody of the well-known Neapolitan folk song "Funiculì Funiculà".
The table can be closed with a key.
Condition: the whole is in very good condition. The table stands firmly on its legs. The lid closes well. Lock and music mechanism working properly. The top shows hardly any wear, with the exception of the edge on the front (see photos 2 and 8).
Dimensions: - The table is 42 cm high. The table top measures approx. 37 x 27 cm, the playing field 23 x 23 cm.
Weighs approx. 1.7 kg

The table will be sent registered or can be picked up by the buyer in The Hague.
