Big Don Quixote chess game with black and gold coloured pieces
1988 - Spain - wood - in excellent condition - king’s height 15 cm
In fine condition - Spain - height of the king 15 cm - is sent by registered mail. Very unique chess set inspired by the well-known book ‘The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha’ by Miquel de Cervantes Saavedra. The chess pieces depict the following characters, king: Don Quichot, queen: Dulcinea, the woman of his dreams., rooks: the mills, knights: Rocinante, bishops: the two brothers, pawns: squire Sancho Panza. The included chessboard is in new condition, foldable and the size is 50 x 50 cm.
