BeoCenter 2 with AUX. 

Bang & Olufsen’s design music system. The BeoCenter 2 is a classic Bang & Olufsen product in many ways. It has something mysterious, it is elegant, it is simple and logical. 
If you look at the BeoCenter 2 from a distance, the design tells you nothing about the many features hidden inside the device. However, a slight disturbance of the [LOAD] function, elegantly slides the two wing-shaped aluminium doors sideways and reveals the combined CD-DVD player. Once the movie or music has started, the doors slide back to their original position and make it clear that it is not the technology that we find important, but it is about the experience. 
The BeoCenter 2 offers access to the simple Compact Discs, but also MP3 CDs, CD-R, CD-RW, Video CDs and DVDs can be played. In addition, the BeoCenter 2 has an AM-FM radio with RDS. This makes the BeoCenter 2 a truly unique ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE. 
The size of the display is such, that it can also be read from great distance. Also, the light intensity adjusts to the amount of ambient light in the room. 

The connection unit can be hidden behind a curtain or under a cabinet. Only one thin cable connects the master with the connection unit. All other necessary, but marring cables which are needed to make connections to the speakers, the television, the mains, the antenna and such, stay hidden in this way. 
Bang & Olufsen has often used brushed aluminium in the past as a beautiful finish of the equipment. Yet, manufacturing the BeoCenter 2 was a challenge in itself. Starting with the production of those beautiful wing-shaped doors.
