On offer is a field telephone type D from World War II.
It was most likely produced in Canada given the "broad arrow".
The casing is made of aluminium and the dimensions (opened) are: 27.5 cm high x 25 cm wide x 15 cm deep.
24 02 44 is stamped on the compartment for the transformer/buzzer.
In the battery compartment is a battery holder for two D-type batteries which facilitates the use.
This is one of the most versatile field telephones from the second world war because apart from speech one can also communicate with morse codes using the buzzer and it has a call bell.
This field telephone is complete (even the small plate with the alphabet at the front is not missing!), in a very good condition and simply usable. It is therefore sold under warranty of operation.

It comes with a rare separate generator for calling, as the field telephone D does not have its own generator.
