This superb dagger is a Pesh-Kabz , a member of the family of the Karud and a Khybar Knife, but with a re-curving blade. The whole family of such daggers is common to India, Persia and several Central Asian countries. The blade is richly decorated , with very clear high contrast pattern, heavy, with a pronounced T spine, reinforced edge. The steel is also decorated all around, traces of old gilding on the blade and handle.
