Synthese Floating 2. Speaker set with floating tweeters.
Floating System is a Belgian speaker manufacturer, best known for the handmade Floating Synthese speakers. 
Speaker builder Ivan Schellekens and his speakers enjoyed much popularity in 1980s and 90s and still have a true “cult” status nowadays. Typical for Floating speakers is the “floating tweeter” principle, disconnecting the tweeter with the bass unit and the speaker cabinet to eliminate vibrations resulting in an open, 3D stereo image and better placement of instruments in the space.

– 2-way (Vifa D26TG-05-06 Tweeter + Vifa P17WJ Woofer)
– 1 Sand-filled space
– Weight +/- 19 kg
– Bassreflex
– Power handling 100 watts
– Material, MDF with white, black or brown variegated Formica outer layer.
– Dimensions: 95x21x24.5
– 8 ohms, 87 dB sensitivity, 30-20,000 Hz frequency range.
– 3000 Hz crossover frequency.

Were painted in the current colour by us, but they can of course be adapted in any colour.
The sound quality is still fantastic; this speaker set has no flaws. 
NB: the two speaker weigh 45 kg altogether.
