Tabletop clock

Description
Tabletop clock
France - 1890-1919 - other

Original and rare table clock found in an old attic following a move, made of bronzed antimony and in good condition. Can be dated back to the late 800s / early 900s, Art Nouveau style. This current developed into a situation of well-being that spread throughout Europe under different names.
It is inspired by the forms of nature and, in particular, by the vegetable world as shown by the poppy flower wrapping the hair of the girl.
The object bears a signature on back which I am not able to decipher, signs of ageing are visible on the surface and a finger is missing.
As shown in pictures, the original mechanism looks intact but I haven’t tested its operation.
