In 1963, Yema issued the « Superman », a waterproof watch up to 300 meters depth, meant for professional divers. As the name implicates, this model is designed for athletes of high level, which is reflected in the advertising slogans of those days: « Yema the time of heroes. Extraordinary watches for extraordinary men », that were even brought in France and England. This watch was chosen for and by great French expeditions like, Serge Debru,globe trotter ; Lionel Terray and Robert Paragot, skilled mountain climbers. This Yema Superman is only rarely offered, it is new originating from the storage and has never been worn, in immaculate condition, with automatic movement caliber FE 5611, rotatable watch ring/bezel, central seconds hand, quick date indication at 3 o'clock, with crown lock, stainless steel case on the back numbered 530016, with a diameter of 38 without crown and with original new Nato watch strap of 25 cm.
The watch originates from the storage of a Parisian watch specialist and Yema distributor. The watch has recently been checken and works perfectly. This model has no bezel-blockage. This watch model is merely offered rarely.
