The company M.Rene Klauss was founded in Strasbourg in 1919 and initially focused on its expertise in chromium coating. Its customers, including prestigious car manufacturers (Bugatti in Molsheim), appreciated their industrial precision and technical skill. In 1927, the brand name Reneka was created for its own designs of luxury cutlery for the restaurant industry. This complete set in original box is a wonderful example of this.
