Condition: In excellent condition. 
Country of origin: Although it doesn’t bear any legible or recognisable marks, we believe this piece is of Belgian or French origin. 
Style: Between Art Deco and Belle Epoque 
Period: approx. 1910 
Inspired by: Talismans or amulets are objects that have been decorated or engraved with astrological or magical symbols, intended to protect the wearer from harm. 
Material: 18 kt yellow and white gold (touchstone tested) 
Diamond: Ten rose cut diamonds and senailles. A senaille is a simplified cut of rose cut diamond, a small slice of diamond with a few gently polished facets. We don’t know the weight of these diamonds, which is entirely normal in our field with regard to rose cut diamonds and senailles.. 
Precious stones: Seven square cut rubies (lab produced, also called Verneuil). 
Birthstones or month stones: Diamond is the birthstone and month stone for April and ruby is for July. 
Hallmarks: No marks. 
Measurements: diameter 2.47 cm (0.97 inch) 
Weight: 2.40 g (1.54 dwt)
