Netherlands - enameled copper plate
This sailing ship is made of enamelled copper plate, covered in pieces of glass with the effect of light on water droplets.
Subsequently finished with a lacquer layer; the lacquer has come off in a few places (see for example the picture of the sun) but this is not bothersome.
The surface is black-lacquered chipboard.
Once sold by Pieter Breughel antiques store in Amsterdam.
Dimensions: 50 x 34 cm.
Weight approx 2.5 kg.
