A complete album of Panini Voetbal 97, the 20th album of the Dutch league that was released by Panini. The book is in very good condition, with no significant traces of use, the album staples are still very firmly in place and all pictures are stuck neat and straight. It has no damage to the pages or the cover, there is no writing on the album, only on page 18 are a few results. The album still has the original order form. In short this book is a nice asset for the demanding collector, is 23 years old and will certainly further increase in value.

The 1996/1997 season of the Dutch Eredivisie was the 41st season in which a professional Eredivisie was played under the KNVB flag. PSV became national champion. AZ relegated directly. This season, the competition went through life under the sponsor name PTT telecompetitie.
The season started on August 20 with the match Roda JC-Feyenoord, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Kees van Wonderen scored from a George Boateng assist. Striker Richard Roelofsen converted a penalty for the home team 1 minute before the match ended.
In the previous year, Go Ahead Eagles had been relegated AZ came in their place.
