19th-century brooch in silver and gold (not hallmarked, but tested - see photos) with a rectangular emerald (6 x 5 mm / 1 ct) in the centre, surrounded by 10 crowned and rose-cut diamonds (approx. 2 ct). 
The back is plated in 18 kt gold.
The clasp, made of gold (not hallmarked, but tested), was added in the 40s to make the brooch fasten more securely.
