Low side or plant table.

Black lacquered wood and surface top made from one large oval ceramic or porcelain tile.

The tile has a wonderful art nouveau style pattern in yellow, green and black.

The legs of the table stand under a minor angle (compass style) and have been turned on a machine with nice shapes.

The piano black lacquer is not original but was added by the previous owner. We think that was an excellent choice as it brings forth the beauty of the surface.

We do not know which designer or manufacturer were involved in making this table.

There are no markings anywhere. The tile is possible marked on the bottom side but we are not sure of that. 

Measurements:
Height: 27 centimeters
Width and depth: 35.5 x 46.3 centimeters 

Weight: about 3 kilograms

Condition:
Fair to good.

The fair refers to the tile which unfortunately has a large Y-shaped split. In the intersection of the fault lines there is also a bit of ceramics missing.

Apart from the split it is actually in very attractive condition. There is one 4 millimeter scuff. The colors are still great and there is no major staining or scratching.

The wooden frame and legs seem to be in very good condition. We cannot judge the (condition of the) wood below the lacquer.

There are a few chips off the lacquer around the rim and the tips of the legs but these could easily be patched up if so desired.
