Here it is the very Limited Edition of Ardbeg Blaaack, bottled to celebrate both Ardbeg day 2020 and the 20th anniversary of the Ardbeg committee. It's official release date is 27th May but it is very hard to get a bottle.
This edition sees the whisky has been matured in Pinot Noir casks from New Zealand and knits together baked summer fruit, perfumed violet notes and bitter cherry, with deeper notes of soot and Ardbeg's hallmark smoke. Truly a whisky apart from anything we've had before.
This is Ardbeg's first ever black bottle. We've had the usual green and clear bottles but never a black.
If you win this you'll have a bottle before anyone else gets one but they are hard to get.
