Item: Extendable dining table in the Directoire style

Period: circa 1880.
Antique extendable table in the Directoire style in solid walnut and veneered with spiked feet, slightly oval in shape, it can be extended up to 220 cm but if desired only one extension can be used (it reaches about 162 cm).
The table has been cleaned and restored, the original extension boards were not present, so they have been carefully rebuilt in walnut and with a band identical to that of the table so that they can also be kept mounted if desired.
Like all extendable tables it swings slightly when open, it has inevitable imperfections due to age.
