Floor lamp
Germany - 1920-1949 - metal
Very special industrial lamp, made by the industrial designer P. Huiser. It is adjustable in height. The enamel lamp used to provide 120 candles worth of light, see the text on the lamp. Of course this has now been modified to a standard E27 lamp holder.
The stand used to be an old dental drill, but the designer has made it into a stylish piece.
Adjustable in height from 110 cm to 200 cm.
This is a unique item, only 1 ever made.
The lamp is 100 years old, the dental drill originates from the 60s.
It is a heavy lamp, especially the base is heavy.
