Fully tested and in new condition Philips AG4856W case record player.

This Philips AG4856W case gramophone with built-in amplifier and speaker (5 ohm/3 Watts) was introduced in 1962. 
The device is mounted in a sturdy green plastic housing with wooden lid in which the speaker is mounted.
The 3 thumb buttons in front are for volume and double tone control.
After switching on, a red signal light lights up.
The device has 4 speeds and is stereo prepared, on other words only the tone recorder has stereo features. 
To display the sound correctly, the device is connected to a stereo radio (or a stereo amplifier) via the stereo output plug. The built-in mono amplifier will not be used in this case. When playing mono via the built-in speaker, a special short-circuit plug is placed.
The cord between the amplifier and the speaker in the lid can be taken off via a plug so that the lid can be used as a second speaker for the radio.
The lid is set separately next to the gramophone for use.
