This very beautiful American made Lord Elgin men's watch was made in circa 1955. It is in very good shape and it runs well!
The watch has a typical Art Deco design, in particular the shape of the case and the '12'.
It seems like a rather small watch, but in the fifties men's watches were always small. This Lord Elgin can now be worn by men as well as women.

14 kt gold-filled case with a snap back. The case and back are 14 kt gold-filled.
This Gruen is 27 mm wide from left to right, without the crown, and 37 mm long measured across the lugs.
The crystal is very special; it follows the round curve of the watch.
The two-tone dial has some minor tiny scratches and dust particles.

New old stock 18 mm brown leather strap, length of the watch +  strap is 22 cm.
Movement: original hand-wound Elgin movement.
The watch runs very well and keeps good time.

No box or papers.
Will be packaged very well and shipped by registered mail.
