Condition: snags on the crowns, joints cracked over 2 cm, sound hinges, 2 blunt corners, ribbed spine adorned with gilded fleurons and garnet morocco title label, some foxing and soiling, bookplate in fountain pen on the title page, red edges, complete.

First edition of this important work, complete with 23 fold-out plates.

François-Joseph Lestiboudois was a French physician and botanist, born in Lille in 1759 and died in the same city on 26 July 1815.

Apart from the mentioned imperfections, this copy is in good condition.
