A large, beautiful and rare plate by Jean SIDOBRE, a.k.a G. LEVIS or GEORGES LEVIS for the series ‘La Légataire de ROSCLIFFE HALL’ published in the British magazine Princess Tina in the 1970s.

Size: 41.2 x 33.4 cm.

Jean Sidobre, also known as G. Lévis and Georges Lévis (1924-1988), was a French cartoonist and comic books writer. He first illustrated many books for young people under his real name (including the adventures of ‘Le Club des Cinq’ in France in the 1960s and 1970s) before devoting himself to erotic works under the pseudonym G. Lévis.

He participated in the magazine Charlie Mensuel from 1983 to 1985.

For the British magazine ‘Princess Tina’, he illustrated ‘Alona the Wild One’ from 1965 to 1967 and ‘My chum Yum Yum’ from 1967 to 1970 a and finally the series ‘La Légataire de ROXCLIFFE HALL’ from 1971. 

This plate is brand new.

The stroke of Jean Sidobre is particularly elegant and very sensual, his virtuosity and his mastery graphic are remarkable.
