Early 19th Century, Antique, George III Sterling Patch Box hand engraved and decorated with intertwined initials on a lozenge cut background, Hall Marked with the initials “IT” in an elongated oval shield (could be Joseph Taylor). It has been Acid tested for .925 sterling silver

Early 19th Century, Antique, George III round box, engraved front and back 1815

It is in a fine antique condition just having light wear as caused by its age. 
The lid fits snugly with small holes in the case and the lid to accommodate the threads. The diameter is 2.1cm (0.830 inch)  and measures 9.0mm (0.352 inch) high.
