This is the so-called Classic "dog leg" or "grasshopper lug" version with yellow gold cap over stainless steel, a solid gold bezel and waterproof steel screw back lid with the famous "Observatory" logo. 
This classic Connie is unpolished and authentic (see pictures). Everything about this watch, including the hexagonal crown, is original. Watch has always had its maintenance, running on time and date adjustment works flawlessly. The excellent cosmetic condition makes this watch a unique and rare piece with a high collectors value.
