This beautiful 28-piece dessert hostess set in the Hildesheimer Rose-pattern was made in West Germany by Solingen and designed by Carl John Schmidt. According to the printed insert included with the set, it is "made from the best quality Krupp 18/10 chromium nickel steel. Each piece is marked "Solingen 18/10" and is 23/24 Karat Gold-plated with a cobalt additive doubling the hardness of the 24 carat gold. "

The set comes in the original box and includes 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons 1 cake server, 1 scalloped spoon, 1 serving tongs and 1 sugar tongs. 
Made in a limited run, so quite rare and unique.
The cutlery is in excellent condition, only some signs of wear.
