De naïeve behandeling vermengt zich met het diepgewortelde Afrikaanse concept om de grootte van het hoofd in de sculpturen te benadrukken, waardoor het naar voren komt als het belangrijkste onderdeel van de uniciteit van het individu. Oude opgravingspatina, hoewel het is schoongemaakt.
