The appeal was constant, it was only a matter of time, the interpretation that MAR makes of the environment that involves him as an artist must be painted.
At the age of 12 he already drew figures of his imagination with a bit of chalk in the asphalt. Over the years his professional choice was natural. During his academy course- graduated in Fashion Design in F.A.L.-he applies to a place in a Portuguese animation studio- “Magic Toons” as a drawer. It´s by this time, in 98, that he has his first experience with graffiti.
Since then, moved by his artistic convictions, Mar looks for constant evolution together and for the graffiti movement-which is evolving globally. Works also with different national fashion brands. Know by is pairs for is characters, he stands out for the way he built his characters and atmospheres giving them lines and shapes that make them unique.

During his artistic path become friend and painted on walls alongside giants of Graffiti and World Street Art such as Sainer, C215, Robert Proch, Os Gemeos, Risk, Bellin, Magrela, Case and Tasso from the Maclaim Crew among many others famous in the international Graffiti scene.
From the Portuguese scene Mar painted with Ram, Nomen, Utopia, Vhils, Odeith, Bray, Klit, Mais Menos and many more. Being part of the two most active and futuristic crews in Portugal: Tunders Crew and Arm Collective, this one with Ram only.

Since 2015 until today, the artist has created Installations, murals and canvas which are acquired by galleries and collectors all around the world and created countless graffiti commissions for all the kind of Brands and Companies.

Recently distinguished by the local authority that saw him grow as an artist, with the Medal of Cultural Merit.
Nowadays, his artistic goal has to do with the exploration of new urban spaces that graffiti can still offer.
