Malgorzata Krakowiak groeide op tussen de ezels en weefgetouwen van haar ouders, kunstenaars, waar de geur van schapenwol zich mengde met verf en terpentijn.
Tijdens haar studie kocht ze ook voor de verf- en artistieke stofoptie, die ze tot op de dag van vandaag met passie onderzoekt. In de loop der jaren heeft ze vooral haar carrière ontwikkeld als Fiber Art-kunstenaar, het tentoonstellen van tweedimensionale en driedimensionale objecten, met deelname aan solo- en groepstentoonstellingen in gerenommeerde musea en galeries in Polen, het geboorteland van de kunstenaar. Sinds 2018 woont en werkt ze op Mallorca, waar de buitengewone natuur van dit eiland haar inspiratiebron is.
Ze verwoordt haar vreugden in de rijkdom van de weefselstructuur, licht en kleur in de huidige cycli FISH en SUBLIMAT, waarin ze innovatieve technieken gebruikt om de werelden van schilderkunst en stof samen te brengen.
Al vele jaren neemt ze regelmatig deel aan kunstbeurzen en ontwikkelt ze met succes samenwerking met ontwerpers. Het werk van de kunstenaar is te vinden in privécollecties en publieke instellingen over de hele wereld.
