Malgorzata Krakowiak is opgegroeid tussen de ezels en weefgetouwen van haar ouders, kunstenaars, waar de riekende geur van schapenwol gemengd werd met verf en terpentine.
Tijdens haar studie koos ze ook voor de optie schilderkunst en artistieke stof, waar ze tot op de dag van vandaag met passie mee bezig is. In de loop der jaren heeft ze vooral haar carrière ontwikkeld als vezelkunstenares, met tentoonstellingen van twee- en driedimensionale objecten, zowel in solo- als groepst tentoonstellingen in gerenommeerde musea en galeries in Polen, het geboorteland van de kunstenaar. Sinds 2018 woont en werkt ze op Mallorca, waar de buitengewone natuur van dit eiland haar bron van inspiratie is.
Ze vangt haar vreugde in de rijkdom van de materie, licht en kleur in de huidige cycli FISH en SUBLIMAT, waarin ze innovatieve technieken gebruikt om de werelden van schilderkunst en stof te combineren.
Al jaren neemt ze regelmatig deel aan kunstbeurzen en ontwikkelt ze met succes samenwerkingen met ontwerpers. De werken van de kunstenaar zijn te vinden in particuliere collecties en openbare instellingen over de hele wereld.
