Mallah is een Palestijns kunstenaar, geboren en getogen in Syrië. Hij heeft een bachelor in Fine Arts aan de St. Joost Akademie in Breda en woont en werkt momenteel in Amsterdam. Zijn kunst draait om thema’s als oorlog, diaspora, identiteit, gender en het lichaam. Mallah gebruikt verschillende kunstvormen om zijn persoonlijke en politieke ervaringen te documenteren.
Het werk van Ahmad heeft gediend in talrijke groepen- en solo-tentoonstellingen, waaronder Chasse Theater in Breda, ALL INN in Het Hem in Zaandam, Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd Museum, Art Nordic International Fair in Kopenhagen, Unfair 2023, Prospects- Art Rotterdam 2024, Art Antwerp 2024 en anderen. Exbunker solo-expositie in Utrecht 2021, De Ploegh solo-expositie in Amersfoort 2023, No Limits Art Castle solo-expositie in Amsterdam 2023 en Madé van Krimpen galerij solo-expositie in Amsterdam 2024.
Mallah’s lopende duo-performatieve samenwerking met zijn partner Rebecca Lillich // Krüger is getoond tijdens Prospects-Mondrian Fonds bij Art Rotterdam, Oeroel festival in Terschilling, Schunck Museum in Heerlen, Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam en het Sismògraf Festival in Olot, Spanje, om er maar een selectie te noemen.
De kunstenaar ontving in 2022 het Mondrian Fonds-stipendium voor opkomende kunstenaars, naast andere overheids- en particuliere financiering zoals het Amsterdam Fonds voor de Kunst, de Gemeente Amersfoort, Amarte Fonds en Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds.
Mallah werd tweemaal genomineerd voor de Galatea Art Prize, zijn schilderijen uit de serie "A New Era" werden geselecteerd voor de tweede ronde van The Royal Art Prize for Modern Painting 2024 en hij won de Publieksprijs - Schilderkunst- Categorie - Business Art Award 2024.

He was nominated twice for the Galatea Art Prize and was nominated for the Sybren Hellinga Keunstpriis in 2025. His paintings from the series A New Era were selected for the second round of the Royal Award for Modern Painting in 2024. In the same year, he won the Public Prize (Painting Category) at the Business Art Award.
