This artwork comes from an exclusive series of floral compositions and artistic representation of beautiful places, people and scenes. The idea was born during
my travel across the South of Europe some time ago. Being surrounded by exceptionally wonderful people, captivatingly beautiful objects and delightful floral arrangements everywhere. Being immersed in the aromas of original Mediterranean cuisine, sipping authentic Turkish tea I suddenly realized that these moments were a subconsciously long-planned escape from oppressive brutalism and absurdism, from the over helming and over-emotionalised abstraction of everyday life, from the ubiquitous and terrible graffiti on the walls of museums, galleries and classic tenement houses. From pretending that we were still surrounded by the beauty and culture...
