Bijzettafel - Eik - Amsterdamse School

A charming Dutch Art Deco side table from the 1920s, executed in solid oak and showing clear Amsterdam School character. Compact in scale yet full of personality, the design is shaped by a pleasing rhythm of vertical supports, crisp geometry, and those wonderful pointed black-stained feet that give the piece a sharper, more graphic finish.

The top and lower tier are both edged in black stain, creating a handsome contrast with the warm tone and lively grain of the oak. Also appealing are the small droplet-shaped carved details applied to the uprights, a decorative feature that one often sees in Amsterdam School designs.

Though modest in size, the table has real presence. It works beautifully as a side table, lamp table, or accent piece.
The table remains in very good condition, stands stable and only minor signs of age and wear consistent with time and use.
