Bijzettafel - model nr. 54 - Eik - N.E.M.I. Steenwijk

A Dutch Art Deco accent table from the 1920s, executed in solid oak and black stained feet,
Made around 1925, reflecting the Dutch version of the Art Deco that swept the Netherlands in the 1920s.
It's a nice, modest design which would work equally well in vintage and modern interiors.

Produced and signed nr 54 and N.E.M.I.— the Steenwijk-based firm known to have collaborated with sculptor Hildo Krop - this piece is in very good, lightly restored condition. Modest in scale, it works equally well as a side table, plant stand, or display pedestal.
