A stunning example of one of Oris’s most beloved icons, now available in its most striking and sought-after dial colour.

The Watch:
The Big Crown Pointer Date features a 40mm multi-piece stainless steel case housing a deep burgundy red dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, bordered by a classic coin-edge bezel. The dial is fitted with luminescent cathedral hands and white Arabic numerals, all centred around the watch’s party piece the pointer date hand with its distinctive red tip, which indicates the date via a scale around the dial’s edge. 

The burgundy/oxblood dial is what sets this particular example apart a rich, deep colour that gives the watch an incredible depth and presence on the wrist, and far more unusual than the standard black or green dial variants.

The Movement:
Through the exhibition caseback, the Oris calibre 754 Swiss automatic movement is visible, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with up to 38 hours of power reserve. You can also see Oris’s signature red rotor through the display back a lovely detail.
