Highly sought-after 1:12 scale model kit of the legendary Yamaha YZF750 (1987) in the iconic "Lucky Strike" Roberts Team livery. Released in December 2011 by the Japanese premium manufacturer Fujimi as a limited run based on completely new tooling, this kit has been Out of Production (OOP) for a long time, making it exceptionally rare.
Factory Sealed in its original shrink wrap. The plastic seal is 100% intact.
Lucky Strike tobacco sponsor decals, which can no longer be manufactured today due to strict advertising regulations.
This bike made history during the famous 1987 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race. Ridden by the 19-year-old American prodigy John Kocinski and his teammate Cal Rayborn under the guidance of triple 500cc World Champion "King Kenny" Roberts, this machine (#26) secured a fantastic 3rd place on the podium.
The 1987 Suzuka 8 Hours (July 26, 1987) is regarded by motorsport fans as one of the most legendary and insane editions in history.
