Excellent condition, with only a small crease in the bottom-left corner of the back cover.
Since the early 1980s, Bettina Rheims has been the most sought-after French photographer. From her very beginnings, the female body has been the central focus of her work. Her unusual and provocative portrais and nude images each reveal a hidden part of the subject. She regularly caused stirs with projects such as Chambre close (1992), the story of a Paris voyeur watching women in hotels; KIM, a documentary on a transsexual; I.N. R. I. (1999), a sequence on the life of Christ, Shanghai (2004), featuring women in the midst of a powerful cultural, economic and spiritual evolution, and, most recently, Heroines (2006).
This volume "Can you find happiness" is a Best of survey of Bettina Rheims' photographic oeuvre of 30 years.
With pictures from Monica Bellucci, Kristin Scott Thomas, Charlotte Rampling, Sophie Dahl, Sharon Stone, Vanessa Paradis, Salma Hayek, Ludivine Seignier , Claudia Schiffer, and others

De verkoper stelt zich voor
Zowat dertig jaar terug begon ik met het verzamelen van stripverhalen en "Para BD" (zeefdrukken, postkaarten, originele tekeningen, etc), eerst wat algemener, later vooral toegespitst op Jean-Pierre Gibrat en François Bourgeon (waarvan ik een grote collectie bezit).
Recenter gaat mijn aandacht steeds meer naar Kunst- en Fotografieboeken.
In 2024 besloot ik een deel van deze verzameling te verkopen, en het zijn deze items die je hier op Catawiki kan vinden.
Ik heb steeds veel zorg gedragen voor alle stukken in mijn verzameling, en dat doe ik nu ook bij het verzenden van mijn verkochte items, zodat jij als koper tevreden kan zijn met jouw aankoop.
Twijfel niet indien je vragen hebt voor mij, ik probeer steeds snel te antwoorden.
