Speeltafel van mahoniehout en mahoniefineer, die opengeklapt een *Gioco del Biribissi*-speelbord onthult.

Blad in de vorm van een oud boek, aan de binnenzijde print beschilderd met het Biribisso-spel, op een driepotig onderstel.

Binnenzijde speelbord als nieuw, buitenzijde boven op het blad wat witte uitslag en lichte beschadiging linksboven.

Het meubelstuk is in en uitklapbaar om het spel te spelen of te gebruiken als bijzettafel.

Het is ongeveer 45 graden draaibaar.

Bijzondere Italiaanse speeltafel met een rijk gedecoreerd blad, voorzien van de historische voorstelling “Gioco del Biribisso”. Het Biribisso was een populair Italiaans kansspel uit de 18e en 19e eeuw en geldt als een voorloper van de moderne loterij.

Het tweedelige, uitklapbare blad is fraai uitgevoerd met een kleurrijk speelveld van genummerde vakken, omlijst door sierlijke florale decoraties en Italiaanse opschriften. De tafel rust op een elegant gedraaid houten onderstel met drie gebogen poten, waardoor het geheel een klassieke Italiaanse uitstraling heeft.

A beautiful and highly decorative Italian folding gaming table featuring the historic “Gioco del Biribisso” game board.

The shaped two-part tabletop is richly decorated with the traditional Biribisso playing field, surrounded by colourful illustrations, floral ornaments and Italian inscriptions. The table stands on an elegant turned wooden pedestal with three curved legs, giving it a classic Italian appearance.

The tabletop folds open and is supported by a sturdy wooden base. The decorative Biribisso board is inspired by the famous Italian game of chance that was popular during the 18th and 19th centuries.
