OVER DE KUNSTENAAR

Het werk van Elena Paraskeva bevindt zich in institutionele en bedrijfsmusea, waaronder de Public Art Department of Sweden (Västra Götaland Government), Boston Hospital, VS (grote installatie van 500 cm bij de ingang van de Kinderkankerafdeling), Australian National University, Thalassa Museum, Affinity (Serif), en andere institutionele en bedrijfscollecties.

Haar werk is tentoongesteld in het EUROPEES PARLEMENT in Brussel, evenals op belangrijke biennales en galeries in NYC, Parijs, Tokio, Londen, Dubai, São Paulo (Brazilië), Wenen, Barcelona, München, Kuala Lumpur, Florence, Frankfurt, Málaga, Linz, Graz, Siena, enzovoort.
In 2026 selecteerde Magnum-fotograaf Alec Soth, algemeen beschouwd als een van de meest invloedrijke hedendaagse fotografen, persoonlijk haar werk voor een tentoonstelling in Griekenland, gehouden onder auspiciën van het Griekse Ministerie van Cultuur.

Zij werd door vier verschillende internationale fotogerelateerde verenigingen uitgeroepen tot International Photographer of the Year (2024 / 2023 / 2021 / 2018).

Zij heeft internationale erkenning ontvangen en belangrijke prijzen gewonnen van Hasselblad Masters, World Masters of Photography, LensCulture, Aesthetica, Prix de la Photographie Paris, International Photography Awards (IPA), Neutral Density Awards en vele anderen.

Haar foto’s zijn gepubliceerd in Smithsonian Magazine, The Guardian (VK & Australië), The Times, Vogue.it, Aesthetica, LensCulture, PDN, Photography Masterclass en tal van andere internationale publicaties.

Sinds 2021 dient zij als jurylid voor het FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS en als voorzitter/jury bij verschillende internationale fotografiewedstrijden elk jaar. Zij is ook voormalig Adobe-instructeur en ambassadeur.
