Barrois - Samovar - Messing - Russian Batashev Samovar

Antique Russian brass coal-fired samovar by the Heirs of Vasily Stepanovich Batashev, Tula. Late 19th century. Complete with its original matching brass tray. Decorated with 14 exhibition medals, including medals dated 1870 and 1885. The samovar bears the original factory marks and is a fine example of traditional Russian craftsmanship. It shows normal signs of age consistent with its period. Please see the photographs for details of its condition.
