E. Hader - portrait

Portraits of eleven well known public men of the nineteen century. In 1876, the German artist Ernst Hader worked in Berlin on a series of photographic reproductions of painted portraits (of composers and historically famous figures), which were published by the Berlin photographer and publisher Sophus Williams. Some names are : Goethe, Strauss, Klopstock, Joseph Hayden, Rossini, Heinrich Heine, Friedrich Haendel.
