【Description】
The Technics SL-1200MK3 is a legendary quartz direct-drive draaitafel introduced in Japan in 1989 as part of the renowned SL-1200 series.

Technics itself describes the SL-1200MK3 as a model that symbolised the maturation of club culture. Developed from the highly influential SL-1200MK2, the MK3 featured enhanced vibration resistance through the use of T.N.R.C. (Technics Non Resonance Compound) inside the cabinet and was designed with the evolving needs of DJs in mind. A slip mat was also supplied with the MK3 generation, reflecting its closer connection with DJ culture.

At its heart is the celebrated quartz-controlled direct-drive system, offering 33⅓ and 45 rpm operation together with continuously variable pitch adjustment of approximately ±8%. Its robust construction, precise tonearm and highly stable drive system helped establish the SL-1200 series as one of the most recognisable turntable families in audio and DJ history.

This particular example is presented in very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of use and age visible. Please examine the detailed photographs for the exact cosmetic condition.
