Captured in 2022 in Estonia.
Printed on Hahnemuehle Fine Art Photo paper in museumquality with Archival pigment print.
The Fine Art Print has an additional white 3 cm wide photo-paper-border (can be cropped for framing).
Delivered without frame, signed and numbered on the white paperborder, bottom right.
Included is a certificate of authenticity and a separate signed label to stick on the back when mounted.
Printed right after auction's end, with 3 to 5 business days turnaround.

The AERIAL VIEWS THE BOG PHOTO SERIES:
These elevated view images show close ups of plants and leafs in swamps in Estonia. The swamps are often protected in national parks such as in the Lahemaa National Park. Former peat extraction areas are being renatured to swamps again.
The Bog is an excellent carbon dioxide storage facilities that can store six times more CO2 compared to forests.

THE ARTIST:
Sinds 2010 legt Bernhard Lang de aardoppervlakte vast in zijn fotoserie "Aerial Views".
Om deze beelden vanuit de hemel te maken, steekt Lang in helikopters en kleine vliegtuigen op.
Langs werk is gepubliceerd in Times Magazin, The Washington Post, The Guardian, CNN, Wired, National Geographic Magazin, Corriere della Sera, Zeit Magazin, art magazine, mare, FAZ, Stern, Spiegel, SZ, ... en heeft artistieke inhoud geproduceerd voor Apple, Aston Martin, Akris, Getty Images Creative, Sundek, Deutsche Welle TV Channel, …
Hij streeft naar interessante patronen en structuren op het oppervlak van onze planeet. Ook heeft hij een bijzondere belangstelling voor het vastleggen van beelden die de impact van menselijke activiteiten op de natuur en het milieu laten zien.
Lang’s beelden bevrijden ons uit de zwaartekracht en stellen ons in staat om de wereld en onze invloed daarop wat ontdooider te bekijken — zowel goed als slecht. Het is deze dualiteit waarlangs Lang het meest geïnteresseerd is in zijn werk, de vreemde balans tussen schoonheid en vernietiging, en de voortdurende strijd voor symbiose tussen mensheid en de aarde die wij bewonen.
