Description:
Up for auction: an exceptional and highly diverse collection of 11 original historical propaganda documents from the First and Second World War. This unique lot includes both scarce German psychological warfare (aimed at advancing Allied troops) and Allied tactical leaflets (aimed at demoralizing German troops).

The collection consists of the following 11 pieces (including front and back views, please see photos):

GERMAN PROPAGANDA (WORLD WAR II - WESTERN FRONT 1944-1945):
1. "Dead Line The Rhine" (German code 980245/75) – Iconic imagery of US flag-draped coffins floating on the Rhine. The reverse side features the infamous, aggressive Waffen-XX warning: "You now face Elite Troops of the Waffen XX!".
2. "The Rhine's Romance Awaits You!" (German code 980245/76) – The exact subsequent consecutive leaflet from the series, showing a giant skull looming over Allied warships. Reverse side features the text "KID FROM THE U.S.".
3. "It was a nice evening..." (The famous Pin-Up leaflet) – Highly sought-after erotic 'sex leaflet' depicting a pin-up girl on a sofa, designed to trigger homesickness. The reverse shows her portrait with the confrontational text: "It's your job to die!". (Has a light, authentic margin tear on the left side).
4. "Look at it properly!" (Tank/Militaria leaflet) – Striking artwork of a heavy German armored vehicle crushing Allied lines. The reverse contains the full propaganda text "Look at it properly!".
5. German Combat Tank (Panzer unit) – Highly visual leaflet showcasing the brute power of German tank divisions in rough terrain at the front lines.
6. "Allo, Tommy!" – German demoralization leaflet aimed at British frontline soldiers, featuring a confrontational text about the futility of their fight.

ALLIED PROPAGANDA (WORLD WAR II - AIMED AT GERMANY):
7 & 8. "Ihr seid jetzt abgeschnitten!" (2 pieces, Code ZG.88) – Tactical Allied capitulation flyers dropped over encircled German units near the end of the war. The text demands immediate surrender: "Handelt Sofort!".
9. "To those who Wonder" (Code ACE) – US/British leaflet illustrated with a grandfather and grandson looking at Allied bombers. The text focuses on Allied industrial superiority.

WORLD WAR I PROPAGANDA:
10. German Propaganda Postcard (ca. 1914-1915) – Illustrated by Adolf Hoffmann featuring the famous wartime slogan: "Jeder Schuss ein Russ - Jeder Stoß ein Franzos". Unused, blank reverse side.

Condition:
All 11 items are in good, authentic wartime condition with the expected signs of aging (minor creasing, edge wear, and light discoloration) inherent to original paperwork that was actually air-dropped or collected at the front lines. All texts, illustrations, and official codes are fully legible.
