Look at the lower right portion of the card. There is no mark. This is evidence that this is a first edition.(A few marked cards are included.)

There are “game manual” inside the box. At that time, Pokémon cards were not for collection but for use in games. They were like playing cards. And almost no one uses “sleeves”. So, most of the old type Pokémon cards in Japan are damaged. If there is no damage, it is only because they were stored without being used in the game.

The box are little damaged, but the cards inside are well protected.
It is in relatively good condition.
