Bureauset - Brons

Een uitzonderlijk, groot formaat antiek bureaubegeleider/standaard ontworpen in de historistisch Neo-Barokke stijl met Empire-invloeden, daterend uit de late 19e eeuw tot het begin van de 20e eeuw (circa 1890-1920).
This highly decorative and imposing piece is masterfully cast in heavy solid bronze, featuring a rich, authentic aged patina. -> Dit zeer decoratieve en imposante stuk is meesterlijk gegoten in zwaar massief brons, met een rijke, authentieke verouderde patina.
Het verticale achterstuk functioneert als een praktisch brieven- en kaartrek, intriciet versierd met hoog reliëf details waaronder cherubs (putti), klassieke acanthusblad-scrolls, en sierlijk opengewerkt rocaille-motieven.
De onderste basis heeft een geïntegreerde pennenbak met een mooi gegraveerd bloemmotief. Het wordt geflankeerd door twee grote, scharnierende inktreservoirs.
Crucially, this piece remains fully functional and complete, still retaining both of its original internal metal inkwell cups/inserts, which are often missing from desk sets of this era. -> Belangrijk: dit stuk is volledig functioneel en compleet, en behoudt nog beide originele interne metalen inktpotjes/inzetstukken, die vaak ontbreken bij bureausets uit deze periode.
