The Denon SS-730 is a rare vintage stereo receiver from Denon’s early 1970s Hi-Fi era. This Japanese-made system combines a stereo amplifier and tuner in one classic chassis and was designed to be used with a separate pair of passive loudspeakers. The SS-730 is particularly interesting to collectors because it is a relatively uncommon Denon model and is rarely seen compared with the company’s better-known individual amplifiers and receivers. Contemporary examples identify the SS-730 as a Denon solid-state stereo system dating from around 1970.
