Koppel antieke stoelen in carved hout – Stijl Louis XV / Rococo

Elegant paar antieke stoelen van massief hout, met een verfijnde gevormde structuur, uitgebreide decoratieve houtsnijwerk en elegante gebogen poten.

Het rugleuning heeft een brede en harmonieuze open vorm, met de bovenkant fijn gesneden met bloem- en bladmotieven, voorzien van een centraal ornament. Het profiel van rugleuning en de onderrande rail zijn elegant bochtig, terwijl de voorpoten de kenmerkende gebogen en slanke vorm hebben.

Het geheel roept de stijl Louis XV / Rococo op, met decoratieve kenmerken die typerend zijn voor Europese meubelproductie uit de late 19e en vroege 20e eeuw.

Conditie

De stoelen hebben een fraaie antieke patina en normale tekenen van ouderdom en gebruik, conform hun leeftijd.

De crèmekleurige bekleding moet worden gewassen/reinigd: er zijn vlekken, vegen en tekenen van veroudering zichtbaar op de foto's.

Zoals duidelijk te zien is op de laatste foto, heeft een van de stoelen ook een kleine barst in het hout, aan de zijkant van de structuur nabij de zitting. De barst is in de foto's bewust zichtbaar gemaakt om de toestand van het object correct te documenteren.

Er zijn ook kleine onvolkomenheden, oppervlakteregels en variaties in de patina van het hout, alle elementen die overeenkomen met de leeftijd van de stoelen.

De foto's maken integraal deel uit van de beschrijving.

Condition

The chairs have a beautiful aged patina and show normal signs of age and use, consistent with their period.

The cream-coloured fabric needs to be washed/cleaned, with stains, marks and signs of ageing visible in the photographs.

As clearly shown in the last photograph, one of the chairs also has a small crack in the wooden frame, located on the side near the seat structure. The crack is clearly documented in the photographs.

There are also minor imperfections, surface marks and variations in the original wood patina, all consistent with the age of the chairs.
