Verfijnde antieke Viennese stoel van Jacob & Josef Kohn, vervaardigd uit spaans gebogen hout en gekenmerkt door een elegant ontwerp met een vleugje Viennese stijl tegen het einde van de 19e eeuw en het begin van de 20e eeuw.

De stoel heeft een hoog en fijn gevormd rugleuning, met golvende decoratieve elementen die de structuur elegantie en beweging geven. bijzonder interessant is de ronde, versierde zitting, verrijkt met een ornamentale waaier/schelpmotief in reliëf – een element met veel esthetische eigenwaarde.

De constructie wordt aangevuld door elegant gebogen poten en een circulaire verbindingsring aan de onderkant. Het hout behoudt een prettige antieke patina, met warme en natuurlijke nuances.

Conditie

De stoel verkeert in een goede vintage staat gezien de leeftijd, met normale tekenen van veroudering en gebruik.

Er zijn krassen, schuursporen, kleine onregelmatigheden en slijtage van de afwerking, evenals natuurlijke variaties in de patina. Ook zijn er kleine gaatjes zichtbaar, compatibel met het historische voorkomen van houtworm in sommige delen van het hout.

Uit de foto's kan niet met zekerheid worden vastgesteld of er momenteel houtwormactiviteit aanwezig is; daarom wordt een eventuele preventieve behandeling aangeraden.

Elegant antique Jacob & Josef Kohn Viennese chair, made of steam-bent wood and characterized by a refined Viennese design dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The chair features a tall, finely shaped backrest with curved decorative elements that give the structure an elegant and distinctive appearance. Particularly attractive is the round decorated seat, featuring a raised fan/shell ornamental motif.

The structure is completed by gracefully curved legs and a circular lower connecting element. The wood retains a beautiful aged antique patina with warm natural tones.

Condition

The chair is in good vintage condition considering its age, with normal signs of age and use.

There are scratches, abrasions, small imperfections and wear to the finish, together with natural variations in the antique patina. Small holes compatible with historical woodworm activity are also visible in some areas of the wood.
