**Pair of English Brass Beehive Candlesticks – Circa 1900 – RD 223580**\n\nA matching pair of English brass candlesticks with beehive-shaped sections, faceted decorative knops and square bases with chamfered corners.\n\nBoth candlesticks are stamped “ENGLAND / RD 223580”. This registered design number dates the design to 1893. The pair is estimated to date from the late 19th or early 20th century; the precise manufacturing date is unknown.\n\nThe candlesticks feature internal candle ejector rods. Their operation has not been tested.\n\nMeasurements:\n- Height: approximately 30 cm each.\n- Base: approximately 10 × 10 cm each.\n- Individual weights: 459 g and 440 g.\n- Combined weight: 899 g.\n\nCondition: used antique condition, with patina, surface scratches, areas of discolouration and minor irregularities to the rims.
