Beeldje - Katrien Duck - Hout

A beautiful and characterful vintage statue of Daisy Duck (Katrien Duck), completely hand-carved from solid wood and hand-painted. This type of Disney sculpture was produced in the 1970s and 1980s by craftsmen in Southeast Asia (mainly Indonesia) for the international market.

Details:
• Character: Daisy Duck
• Material: Solid wood, hand-carved and hand-painted
• Height: Approx. 31 cm
• Period: Approx. 1970s / 1980s
• Rarity: While statues of Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck appear more frequently, Daisy Duck is significantly rarer and highly sought after by Disney collectors.

Condition Report:
The statue is in beautiful, authentic vintage condition with vibrant colors. The beak and delicate details are fully intact. As this is a natural wood product that is decades old, it shows characteristic age-related shrinkage cracks (see photos). This is normal for this type of wood and adds to its unique vintage charm.

Important note for collectors:
As is inherent to these specific artisan productions from the 70s/80s, the statue does not feature an official Disney stamp, license mark, or signature. It is a beautifully crafted vintage tribute to the iconic character.
