The radio medium in size was manufactured by PHILIPS model BF 211 U in 1951.
The radio's design is very attractive, with a rounded cabinet.. The housing is
made of white/ ivory color “pollopas” (kind of bakelit). This color is reserved
for the luxury model. The front panel consists in a cloth for the loudspeaker
and below there is the glass with the radio station names and the knobs.
The housing has a shiny aspect without damager. The names of the radio stations
are perfectly readable and the speaker cloth is correct.

The last two photos are copies of the advertisements of the PHILIPS radios
displaying the model B211U with its technical details (not included in the sale).
A copy of the documents will be included with the radio.

The radio plays on the wavebands LW, MW, and SW.

The left button serves as an on/off switch and also controls the volume level.
The right button is for the wavelength selector (LW, MW, and SW), and for the station
tuning.

The radio is operating on 110/230 Volts.

The radio has been professionally serviced very carefully. The radio tunes well the
stations (depending on the countries) across the entire frequency bands. To tune the
radio stations, a wire of about ¾ meters is necessary as an antenna.
